OVERVIEW
Tracyton Pee Wee Sports offers Flag and Tackle Football. All football teams are established according to the player’s Pee Wee age on August 31st.

- E Level: Age 5 & 6 (Instructional Level)
ROOKIE TACKLE (8 PLAYER)

UNIFORM
Flag Football:
TPW provides Flags, Soft Helmet and Game Day Uniform (Shirt, Pants and Belt). The Game Day Shirt is kept by the Player.
Equipment Parents Must Provide:
Colored Mouthpiece (No Clear/White), Royal Blue Athletic Socks and Plastic Molded Cleats (No Screw Ons).
Tackle Football:
TPW provides Helmet, Shoulder Pads and Game Day Uniform (Jersey, Pants and Belt). The Game Day jersey is personalized with the Player's last name and is kept by the Player.
Uniform and Gear Fitting is typically by the first Saturday in August. Gear will be issued on this date. Game Day jersey will be issued the first week in September prior to games starting.
Equipment Parents Must Provide:
Colored Mouthpiece (No Clear/White), Practice Jersey, Practice Pants (Integrated or Slotted w/appropriate pads), Athletic Supporter with Protective Cup, Royal Blue Athletic Socks and Plastic Molded Cleats (no screw on cleats).
Fully paid Registration and a Uniform Deposit is required for gear issuance. The Uniform Deposit is payable to Tracyton Pee Wees which is securely held, not cashed and returned once all issued gear is received after the end of the season. Uniform Deposit: $250.00 (Tackle), $150.00 (Flag). Please note: If Player Registration is not paid in full before the first game, the player will be deemed ineligible to play.
PRACTICE
Football practice generally begins August 01st; however no later than the first Monday in August and is held at Fairview Middle School. Practice will be held 3-4 times per week.
The first five practice days are non contact and is typically conditioning week. Players should be dressed in t-shirt or sleeveless t-shirt, athletic shorts and cleats. Once contact practice begins, players are required to wear all padding (shoulder, girdle, thigh and knees) and protective equipment (helmet, mouth guard and sports cup).
Please remember to have your player bring plenty of water for hydration.
GAME SCHEDULE
As a member of KPAPWA, our games are determined by the Football Sports Commission. The Game Schedule will be listed on KPAPWA's website, http://www.kpapwa.com/schedule. The Game Schedule will also be communicated by your Coach and/or Team Parent and will be detailed on our website.
The first scheduled game is generally the first Saturday after Labor Day. The season ends no later than the second Sunday in November with the Championship games for eligible teams.
Players are generally scheduled to arrive 30-45 minutes before game time in full game day uniform. Players may be waived from game play if not properly attired. Please remember to have your player bring plenty of water for hydration.
SAFETY
At Tracyton Pee Wees, we understand the importance of safety and its utmost priority when it comes to your child's participation. We are committed to ensuring a positive youth football experience and advancing player safety by providing league-wide coaching education and teaching resources that benefit Players, Parents and Coaches through USA Football's Youth Coaching Certification.
Every Tracyton Pee Wee coach will be trained in Heads Up Football techniques before leading their teams this season. All TPW Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches will complete USA Football's Youth Certification Course, which includes Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) concussion recognition and response protocols; proper helmet and shoulder pad fitting; and Heads Up Tackling techniques, which aim to take the head out of the line of contact.
